Kazakh, Uzbek, Tajik power engineers discussed resumption of parallel operation of joint energy systems

ALMATY. June 23. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilinskaya/ Power engineers of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan discuss the issue of resumption of parallel operation of joint energy systems that will promote increase in security of energy supply for consumers of three states and stability of energy supplies. President of "KEGOC" JSCE Almasadam Satkaliyev has made it public today at the 10th session of the Electric Power Energy Coordination Council of Central Asia.

The results of the work of energy systems of the region during last autumn and winter seasons and organizational issues were discussed at the sitting. The decision on systemic and effective measures on prevention of deviations from specifications of balance of power exchange under the coordinated introduction of energy system regimes for the avoidance of accidents, on modernization of emergency control automatics, etc was made.

Upon the results of the session the Kazakh side handed over the presidency in the Coordination Council to the Kyrgyz side.
