Kazakh, Ukrainian presidents signed amendments to joint Action Plan for 2010-2011

ASTANA. September 14. KAZINFORM Within the framework of the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's official visit to Ukraine a number of documents have been signed today.

Following the results of the negotiations the presidents of Kazakhstan and Ukraine signed a protocol on amendments to the Action Plan Kazakhstan-Ukraine for 2011-2013 ("Road Map-3"). Several agreements were signed at the intergovernmental level, including on mutual allocation of land plots for the construction of diplomatic representations, on cooperation in the sphere of education, on cooperation between the human rights commissioners of Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC and State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine agreed on creation of favorable tariff conditions for cargo transportation.

After the talks the presidents held a joint press conference.

The same day Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov. A wide array of topics regarding economic cooperation was discussed.
