Kazakh, Ukrainian Interior Ministers sign coop agr't to counter extremism

TANA. November 24. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakh and Ukrainian Ministers of Internal Affairs Kalmukhanbet Kassymov and Vitaliy Zakharchenko signed agreement on cooperation in countering extremism in Astana on Thursday.
The agreement will be valid for five years, Kassymov told journalists.
"First, along with cooperation in combating the major types of crime, the document envisages cooperation in eliminating extremism and cyber crime. It also assumes the exchange of information, the search for criminals and the execution of queries in all directions. We also envisaged the interaction in cultural, sports fields, health-resort treatment," he noted.
