Deputy Mayor of Almaty, Vice-President of Association of Sociologists of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Sociology, professor Serik Seidumanov delivered a speech at the conference. Leading Kazakh and Turkish scientists-sociologists made reports.

Special attention was paid to the sociologic dimension of cooperation in the Turkic space, students training. The Kazakh side presented a draft intercountry scientific-analytical magazine. Zarem Shaukenova emphasized that the Kazakh and Turkish scientists held interesting discussion of results and prospects of further cooperation.

Organizers are the Istanbul University, Kazakh national University, Almaty administration, Turkic World Union of Sociologists, Association of Sociologists of Kazakhstan.
