Kazakh-Turkish relations entered new historical stage – Turkish President Abdullah Gul
ASTANA. October 14. KAZINFORM President of Turkey Abdullah Gul received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Turkey B. Amreyev on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic work in the country.
Turkish president highly appraised the state of Kazakh-Turkish relations. He noted that the establishment of the Turkic Council in 2009 on the initiative of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, signing agreement on strategic partnership between the two countries, the shift of presidency in the CICA from Kazakhstan to Turkey and contacts of the Heads of State that happened seven times for the last year was a good proof of Kazakh-Turkish relations entering a new historic level, the press release of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkey informs.
The Head of Turkey thanked the Ambassador of Kazakhstan for the contribution he made to strengthening of relations between two brotherly countries and to development of Turkic integration process. The President wished him success in further work for the good of Kazakhstan and its foreign policy interests.
B. Amreyev, in turn, expressed his gratitude to the Turkish President for his constant support to Kazakhstan and development of the relations between the two countries. The Ambassador also expressed confidence in Kazakh-Turkish relations strengthening and developing for the interest of the brotherly people.
Upon the completion of the meeting Abdullah Gul extended his best wishes to Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
