Kazakh tennis sensation stable in WTA rankings

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Tennis sensation Zarina Diyas has become the only female athlete from Kazakhstan who managed to preserve her standing at the updated WTA rankings, Vesti.kz. web portal says.
The 20-year-old Diyas secured the 93rd spot of the WTA ranking. Yulia Putintseva fell from №157 to №159. Sesil Karatantcheva lost four positions succumbing to №179. In the top 10 of the WTA ranking, Maria Sharapova is ranked as low as ninth for the first time since 2011. She was ousted by Serb Jelena Janković who climbed №8.
