Kazakh tennis player to take on Maria Sharapova in Brisbane

ASTANA-BRISBANE. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani tennis player Yaroslava Shvedova is set to play against world №2 Maria Sharapova in second round of the 2015 Brisbane International tournament, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
Earlier Shvedova surprised the Brisbane audience by beating none other than German Sabine Lisicki in the openner. The Kazakhstani gave up the first set 0:6 without a fight, but regained her confidence and crashed world №27 in next two sets 7:5, 6:4. Let's hope that Shvedova has a couple of new tricks up in her sleeve for Ms. Sharapova and we will witness another sensational game on January 7 at the Queensland Tennis Center.
