In the second-round match, Diyas, 20, outplayed world №15 Carla Suarez Navarro in three sets 7:6, 5:7, 6:2. The rising tennis star served 6 aces, made 4 double faults and 30 unforced errors. Diyas will next face Vera Zvonareva from Russia who downed Croatian Donna Vekic in the second round.
