Kazakh tennis player fails to win ITF title in U.S.

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Tennis player Yulia Putintseva representing Kazakhstan has failed to win the title of the ITF tournament in Florida, the U.S., Vesti.kz web portal says.
The 7th seed of the tournament Putintseva was defeated by Taylor Townsend from the U.S. in two straight sets 1:6, 1:6.
As reported earlier, Putintseva had problems beating Egyptian-born Canadian tennis player Heidi El Tabakh in the semifinal of the tournament. She spent more than two hours on court and managed to outplay the Canadian athlete in three sets 4:6, 6:3, 6:3.
