Kazakh tennis player ends year on high note

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's №1 in tennis Zarina Diyas has wrapped up this year at the 33rd spot of the recently updated WTA ranking, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz. 2014 has proved to be the most successful year for Diyas so far, but we are sure the best is yet to come.
Another tennis player representing Kazakhstan Yaroslava Shvedova is ranked 65th. Yulia Putintseva and Galina Voskoboeva landed the 115th and 259th spots accordingly. The top 3 of the ranking remained unchanged ruled by American phenomenon Serena Williams. Williams is followed by Russian Maria Sharapova and Romanian Simona Halep.
