Kazakh tennis player edged out in Roland Garros opener

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's tennis player Mikhail Kukushkin is leaving Roland Garros after the first-round defeat in Paris, France.
In the opening match Israel's Dudi Sela defeated World №57 Kukushkin in three sets 7:6, 6:3, 7:6 taking their head-to-head statistics to 3-1. The Israeli athlete who is currently ranked 89th in the world needed 2h 42min and three aces to beat Kukushkin. In the second round Sela will play against №14 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France.
