Kazakh tennis player eases into 2nd round of Barcelona Open

BARCELONA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani professional tennis player Andrey Golubev has advanced to the second round of a prestigious Barcelona Open tournament, Kazinform refers to Vesti.kz.
In the first round of the ATP tournament Golubev spent one hour and 16 minutes on court defeating Matteo Viola of Italy in two straight sets 6:4, 6:3. In the next round the Kazakh tennis player will face off with French Benoit Paire. Another tennis player representing Kazakhstan Alexandr Nedovyesov failed to impress at the tournament, as he succumbed to Inigo Cervantes-Huegun from Spain in three sets 6:3, 2:6, 4:6. The prize fund of the tournament is €2 million.
