Kazakh, Tajik Foreign Offices held consultations in Dushanbe

ANA.  September 5. KAZINFORM  Foreign Offices of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan held consultations in Dushanbe on expansion of bilateral relations and interaction within international structures, in particular, within the OSCE.

The agenda of the meeting covered a wide range of issues regarding the Kazakh-Tajik bilateral cooperation in trade-economic and social spheres as well as attraction of investments and financing joint investment projects.

The diplomats noted dynamic development of the trade-economic relations between the two countries and preservation of positive trend of mutual commodity turnover.

Special attention was given to the state and prospects of interaction within the OSCE. In particular, the Kazakh side informed Tajikistan of the course of preparation for the OSCE chairmanship in 2010.

Members of the Kazakh delegation also had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Mahmudjon Sobirov, Kazinform cites the press service of the Kazakh MFA.
