Kazakh taekwondo athlete secures bronze at Chuncheon 2024 World Taekwondo Junior Championships in South Korea
Kazakh taekwondo athlete Temirzhan Taskyn has claimed a bronze medal at the ongoing Chuncheon 2024 World Taekwondo Junior Championships in South Korea, Kazinform News Agency has learned from the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh athlete secured the 3rd place in the men’s 48kg category.
Mahdi Razmiyan of Iran won the gold medal. Jairo Trigos of Spain secured the silver medal, followed by another bronze medalist Bekhruz Salimov of Uzbekistan.
It bears to remind that Kazakhstan's team grabbed three medals at the competition. Earlier Nurai Kaznabek pocketed silver in the women’s 59 kg final event. Nurali Makhmut grabbed a silver medal in the men’s 55 kg finals.
The Chuncheon 2024 World Taekwondo Junior Championships is set to run between October 1-6 in South Korea.
