Kazakh students studying in Dubai celebrate the Day of the First President (PHOTO)
ABU DHABI. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan students studying in the United Arab Emirates have decided to hold a special event dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
University of Wollongong in Dubai, where study about 150 students from Kazakhstan, has held the event. The students have organized a special stand with the books about the President Nursultan Nazarbayev published in English and Arabic. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE Kairat Lama Sharif and rector of the university Professor Mohamed Salem made welcome speeches at the University of Wollongong. Creative folk ensemble of Kazakh National University of Arts (Astana), invited by the UAE Ministry of Culture, Youth and Social Development, performed at the event.
