Kazakh specialists to train at Mediterranean Agronomic Institute in Greece
ASTANA. June 2. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Head of the EU Mission to Kazakhstan Norbert Jousten said that Kazakh agriculture specialists would improve their qualification at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania, Greece.
The corresponding agreement on cooperation in the sphere of education and science between the International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies and Analytical Center of Economic Policy in Agro-Industrial Complex under the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan was signed at the conference on 'Agricultural policy: its development and current trends in the world' on Wednesday, June 2.
'On the conditions of this agreement the experts from Kazakhstan will be able to train at the Agronomic Institute in Greece', Norbert Jousten said. Besides, he noted that Kazakhstan had huge potential for development of agriculture.
The Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICh) was established on the basis of the multilateral agreement between the governments of the Mediterranean countries. This is one of four institutes of the International Center for qualification improvement in the Mediterranean region under the auspices of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
