Kazakh-Spanish Intergovernmental Commission held 4th sitting
ASTANA. July 2. KAZINFORM. /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The 4th sitting of the Kazakh-Spanish Intergovernmental Commission for Cooperation in the sphere of economy and industry has taken place in Astana today.
The sides noted the common political intentions for further development and strengthening of the relations, creation of multilateral prospects of cooperation that will serve to the interests of the two states in all spheres.
"Realization of joint projects in the field of industry, railroad sector, agriculture, infrastructure and financial sector is possible provided that the governments of Kazakhstan and Spain have high level of mutual understanding. Kazakhstan is impressed by the level of development of engineering, motor, electrotechnical, chemical and textile industries of Spain. In this context we hope for expansion of cooperation between our states, particularly in the spheres of infrastructure, creation of new conditions for entrepreneurship, solution of environmental and other problems", Kazakh Vice Minister of Finance Ruslan Dalenov said at the sitting.
He also expressed interest in the development of non-primary sectors of economy, improvement of investment climate and tourism promotion.
Last year the volume of commodity circulation between the two states amounted to USD 750 million. 27 enterprises with the participation of Spanish capital work in Kazakhstan.
