Kazakh-Slovenian trade turnover amounted USD 117.4 mln for 2012

ASTANA. June 7. KAZINFORM Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Slovenia for 2012 amounted above USD 117 million, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kazakhstan informs.

By contrast with 2011 the growth by 43.5% is being observed.

"Very different goods are imported to Kazakhstan from Slovenia in particular, rapid tool steel, soluble food additives, iron, electric equipment, ore mining equipment, office stationery, toys, sport tools, cement, furniture and clothing. Cotton, iron and steel, phenolic keton, electric equipment and components are exported from Kazakhstan to Slovenia," the press service reports.

Currently 19 companies with Slovenian businessmen (including 8 joint ventures, 11 enterprises with 100% of the Slovenian capital) have been registered in Kazakhstan. These companies are engaged in trade, repair of motor vehicles and household goods, real estate operations, leasing and services to the manufacturing industry.
