Kazakh-Slovak relations intensified lately - Nazarbayev
ASTANA. March 30. KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ Kazakh-Slovak relations have intensified lately. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it at the Kazakh-Slovak business forum in Astana today.
"This is confirmed by the signing of the agreement on establishment of Business Council between the Commerce and Industry Chambers of our states that should promote the joint activity", the Head of the State noted.
N. Nazarbayev said that 52 Kazakh and 22 Slovak companies were taking part in the forum. The President expressed hope for signing of 10-15 contracts between them.
"Kazakhstan is a young independent state that for a short period of time conducted economic reforms and made legislation attractive for foreign investments. Kazakhstan attracted about 90 per cent of all foreign direct investments directed to the region. It is about USD 100 billion", the Kazakh leader stressed.
