Kazakh, Serbian FMs discussed preparation for OSCE Summit
ASTANA. October 7. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Kazakh Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev has met with Foreign Minister of Serbia Vuk Jeremić in the course of the state visit of Serbian President Boris Tadić to Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed prospects of developing bilateral relations, interaction within the framework of international organizations, preparation for the OSCE Summit in Astana. They noted the similarity between the two capitals of Astana and Belgrade on many issues of international politics and the absence of any controversies between the two states.
As for the trade-economic cooperation the sides noted that the current level did not correspond to the existing potential. Thus K. Saudabayev suggested developing more effective cooperation model. He invited Serbian business circles to take part in implementation of the Kazakhstan program on forced industrial innovative development. Besides, he told about the benefits of cooperation arising from the establishment of the Customs Union with Russia and Belarus.
