Kazakh Senate Speaker Tokayev receives Czech, Bulgarian diplomats
ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM Senate Speaker of Kazakhstan Mr. Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has received today Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Kazakhstan Bedrich Kopecky, the chamber's press service reports.
As reported earlier, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kazakhstan completed his diplomatic mission in the country.
The head of the Upper Chamber of the Kazakh Parliament lauded the Czech diplomat for his efforts and contribution to the buildup of the Kazakhstani-Czech inter-parliamentary dialogue. It was stressed that the two countries will surely cement their partnership both in the bilateral format and in the Kazakhstan-EU direction.
The same day the Kazakh Senate Speaker also met with Charge d'Affaires of Bulgaria, Ambassador to Kazakhstan Ivan Dimitrov. At the meeting, the sides focused on relevant issues of the Kazakhstani-Bulgarian cooperation. Mr. Tokayev extended kind invitation to the deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan. Ambassador Dimitrov, in turn, said the visit will help further facilitate the bilateral inter-parliamentary ties.
