Kazakh Senate Speaker receives Iranian Ambassador

ASTANA. June 11. KAZINFORM. Today Chairman of the Senate of Kazakhstan Parliament Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Kazakhstan Ramin Mehmanaparast Ramin Mehmanparast in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in our country; Kazinform refers to the House?s press service.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the level of Kazakh-Iranian cooperation. They noted that the recent official visit of Iranian President to Kazakhstan gave an additional impulse to the expansion of trade-economic relations between the two states.
K. Tokayev thanked the diplomat for his work on strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation and his personal contribution to the development of a constructive dialog between the countries and support of many Kazakh initiatives.
In his turn Mr. Ramin Mehmanparast expressed appreciation to K. Tokayev for his work on development of Kazakh-Iranian interaction, particularly at the interparliamentary level.
