Kazakh Senate Speaker congratulates Kazakhstan on Constitution Day

"I believe it is very important on this day to remind of paramount importance of the Constitution in the strengthening of independence of our country, its security, stability, inner consent and economic upswing," the MP's blog reads.

The Kazakh Senate Speaker notes that being the key legal platform of the socioeconomic reforms in the country, the Constitution of Kazakhstan defines the guarantees of economic freedom as an indispensable element of country's statehood and its successful social policy. It proclaims the equity of all forms of property and their equal protection, obligates the state to support competitiveness at all levels.

The current Constitution was adopted in 1995. And since 1999 Kazakhstan has been experiencing gradual economic growth that would have been unachievable without inner accord, stability, and wise socioeconomic policy.

All people of Kazakhstan can be justifiably proud of the achievements made throughout the years of independence.

"Today, Leader of the nation Nursultan Nazarbayev sets new long-term goals for Kazakhstan and the Constitution remains a solid legal foundation for the implementation of the Kazakhstan-2050 Strategy. I wholeheartedly congratulate you, my dear compatriots, on this significant national holiday - the Constitution Day," the blog reads.
