Kazakh Senate ratified agrt on customs services' activity within EurAsEC
ASTANA. November 1. KAZINFORM Kazakh Senate at the plenary sitting ratified the law "On ratification of the Agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters concerning activities of representative offices of the customs services of the Customs Union within the Eurasian Economic Community."
Finance Minister of Kazakhstan Bolat Zhamishev informed that, in accordance with Article 3 of the Agreement the members of the customs' representative offices shall monitor execution of the customs legislation of the Customs Union, develop proposals, assess customs and other types of state control at the customs checkpoints on the border of the CU member states.
They will also develop proposals for their harmonization and improvement, analyze data on trade flows crossing over the CU border, inform the customs authorities of the member states of the positive experience of customs technologies and participate in the exchange of information between the customs services of the parties.
