Kazakh Senate passed a law on ratification of the Protocol to the Agreement between SCO Governments on cooperation in providing assistance in emergency liquidation
ASTANA . December 19. KAZINFORM - The Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan adopted the Law "On ratification of the Protocol to the Agreement between the Governments of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on cooperation in providing assistance in emergency situations on October 26, 2005 ."
"The Agreement provides for conditions to assist other member states by sending rescue teams for effective assistance to the affected population in the event of major emergencies that can not be liquidated by one of the parties on its own," - said the Minister of Emergency Situations ,Vladimir Bozhko presenting the bill.
According to the minister, the protocol approves the model forms of documents that will be used to communicate in assisting in emergency situations. The protocol was signed in Bishkek on December 5, 2012.
