Kazakh Secretary of State talked to UN High Commissioner for Refugees
ASTANA. June 4. KAZINFORM - Today in Akorda the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Tajin has had a meeting with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres.
The meeting discussed a number of important international issues, including those related to holding the Second Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Refugees, and Migration in Central Asia. The sides noted the growing international prestige of the Kazakhstan Institute of citizenship, as well as the prestige of the state social system.
"Kazakhstan attaches great importance to cooperation with the Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees, considering it as one of the most important international organizations engaged in upholding the values and purposes of the UN at global, regional and national level", it has been said at the meeting by the Secretary of State of Kazakhstan.
