Kazakh science can develop new directions: M.Zhurinov

ALMATY. May 28. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilinskaya/ ?Unfortunately, our industrial enterprises have lost their advanced positions as long as the contacts between the science and production were destroyed?, President of the Kazakh National Academy of Sciences Murat Zhurinov has said today at the traditional meeting of the Academy in Almaty.
According to the scientists, Kazakhstan is an agro-industrial country; in this regard it is necessary to advance in these directions. But the achievements of the national science are not introduced to these and other sectors of the industry. ?As the Kazakh President said, the industrialization must conform to the current way of development of the world economy, and scientific advances will help to accelerate this development,?Academician M.Zhurinov said.
?Having rich experience and great potential, the Kazakh science can provide the development of new directions in the scientific research, able to establish breakthrough, critical technologies that are adequate to the world tendencies?, the Head of the Academy said.
