Kazakh, Russian presidents talk over phone

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.

The presidents highlighted dynamic development of interstate relations between Kazakhstan and Russia in the spirit of friendship, good-neighborliness and alliance.

The heads of state also discussed the issues of trade-economic cooperation, having emphasized successful implementation of the agreements reached earlier at the highest levels.

On November 27-28, the Russian President paid a state visit to Kazakhstan and participated in a session of the Collective Security Council (CSC) of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Astana.
