Kazakh-Qatari top level commission holds 3rd session in Astana
ASTANA. October 8. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh-Qatari joint high level commission has held the third session on October 7-8 in Astana.
Minister of Industry and Trade Asset Issekeshev headed the Kazakh side, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Acting Minister of Business and Trade H.E. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammad Al-Attiyah - the Qatari one.
The sides considered the affairs state and mutual trade volume, noted necessity of activation of trade and investment relations development. The Kazakh side suggested for Qatari side's consideration a list of export products of our country.
A number of agreements on important issues of bilateral cooperation development was reached at the session. In particular, the sides agreed to activate interaction in the sphere of high technologies and study opportunity of attraction of the Qatari investments into "Information Technologies Park" free economic zone. The sides agreed to accelerate a work on establishment of the Kazakh-Qatari Investment Fund.
"Potential of cooperation development between our countries is very big", A.Issekeshev said emphasizing importance of the agreements reached at the session.
