Kazakh prosecution authorities ready to establish closer relations with Iranian counterparts
ASTANA. March 14. KAZINFORM Kazakh Prosecutor General Askhat Daulbayev met Ambassador of Iran to Kazakhstan Gorban Seyfi to discuss the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Daulbayev expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations. He noted the willingness of the prosecution authorities of Kazakhstan to establish closer relations with Iranian counterparts, particularly in combating terrorism, extremism, cyber crime, drug trafficking and corruption. He suggested the conclusion of bilateral agreements on legal assistance.
In turn, the ambassador conveyed the invitation of the Prosecutor General of the Islamic Republic of Iran to attend the first meeting of the Prosecutors General of ECO member countries, which is planned to be held in May this year in Tehran.
The diplomat expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and meaningful information, and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
