Kazakh Prime Minister warns of responsibility for new heating season failure
ASTANA. July 16. KAZINFORM - Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov today at a meeting of the Government has once again warned the akims of the regions of responsibility for a failure of the new heating season.
"In almost all regions, concerning preparations for the cold season we have the backlog of scheduled timing of work, especially in the heat power. So I am calling attention of the leaders of our regions, cities of Astana and Almaty and utilities managers to the need to take control of this issue, " said Serik Akhmetov.
"I would like to remind of the personal responsibility of akims (governors) for timely working up for the upcoming heating season. I charge all interested state agencies, those responsible, to take the necessary measures and enter into a planned schedule for a new heating season, " said the head of the Government.
"This issue will be reviewed again in September", concluded the Prime Minister.
