Kazakh Prime Minister reported to President on harvesting campaign
ASTANA. September 27. KAZINFORM Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Prime Minister Karim Massimov today; Kazinform refers to the Presidential press service.
K. Massimov informed the President of the Government's current work and results of socio-economic development of Kazakhstan. He told that the harvesting campaign was almost completed. More than 13 million tons of grain was gathered. It will be enough for Kazakhstan till October 1, 2011.
"Current stocks are high enough to mitigate the possible poor harvest next year", the Premier noted.
The Kazakh leader urged the Government to provide all regions of Kazakhstan with grain and complete harvesting on time.
Mr. Massimov also reported on the progress of implementation of the state program of forced industrial innovative development of Kazakhstan. "72 big projects have been launched this year. 72 more projects will be finished by the end of the year, namely by the Independence Day", he stressed.
The issues of development of small and medium business and law-enforcement system reforming were discussed as well.
