Kazakh Prime-Minister receives UK Senior Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Sayeeda Warsi

KAZINFORM - Today, Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov has received UK Senior Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Minister for Faith and Communities, Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, that was reported on the Prime-Minister official website
The sides discussed a wide array of topics concerning Kazakh-British relations, particularly, in the field of trade and economic cooperation.
“Great Britain is the strategic partner of Kazakhstan. We closely cooperate in oil and gas and mining industries, but our countries have potential for cooperation in other priority sectors of the economy," the head of the Government said.
One of these areas, according to S.Warsi should be cooperation in the field of "green" economy. "Our countries have attached great importance to the development of "green" economy and, given its enormous potential, we are ready to cooperate with you in the field of transfer of "green" technologies," she said.
According to the parties, the two countries have created all the necessary conditions for further development of bilateral economic and cultural ties.
