Kazakh Prime Minister informs President about 5.7 % GDP growth in 9 months
ASTANA. October 8. KAZINFORM - Today the Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov, the press service of the Presidential Administration informs.
At the meeting Akhmetov reported on the results of socio-economic development of the country for the first 9 months of the current year as well as on the progress of harvesting.
The President noted that the issues will also be discussed at the next scheduled meeting of the Government.
Akhmetov informed about the growth of GDP (gross domestic product) which has reached 5.7 % in 9 months.
"GDP growth in 2013 is expected to reach 6%. On the whole today 18.5 million tons have been harvested in bunker weight. As a result, the harvest of 2013 will be about 20 million tons in bunker weight", said the Prime Minister.
