Kazakh Prime Minister Akhmetov, Ukrainian President Yanukovych discussed economic cooperation

The parties discussed bilateral relations, in particular, further development of cooperation in trade and economic sphere.

Serik Akhmetov expressed confidence that the results of talks and documents signed during his official visit would give a new impetus to the development of multilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

He stressed that "Kazakhstan created favorable conditions for the support of investors, business and establishment of joint enterprises."

Viktor Yanukovych confirmed Ukraine's interest in developing strategic cooperation. "We respect our relations with Kazakhstan. We have good traditions, I would say the ancient traditions that bind our two nations," he said.
