Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex expands partnership with Jordan’s media outlets
The TV and Radio Complex of the Kazakh President signed on Wednesday a memorandum of cooperation with Jordan Radio and Television Corporation and The Independent Media Station Al-Mamlaka TV in Amman, Jordan, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The documents signed by Director of the Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex Raushan Kazhibayeva and members of Jordan’s Cabinet of Ministers Yarub Al-Qudah and Muhannad Shehadeh as part of the official visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Jordan aim at enhancing Kazakhstan-Jordan relations in mass media.
To note, in 2023, Kazinform International News Agency, which is part of the TV and Radio Complex of the Kazakh President, signed a cooperation agreement with Jordan’s News Agency Petra.
The TV and Radio Complex of the Kazakh President is a leading full-service media company, which includes the republican TV channel JibekJoly, international TV channels SilkWay and SilkWayCinema, "Kazinform" International News Agency and the Documentary Film Center.
Jordan Radio and Television Corporation is a state-owned company which was established following a merger of JordanTV and JordanRadio. The Corporation manages over 10 TV and radio channels broadcasting in Arab and English languages.
The Independent Media Station Al-Mamlaka TV is an independent satellite TV channel, which was launched in 2015 and provides coverage in the Arab language in Jordan and the Middle East.
Earlier it was reported that on February 18, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had arrived in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for an official visit.
During the talks, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev invited Abdullah II of Jordan to pay a visit to Kazakhstan.
Earlier, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev bestowed Altyn Qyran Order (the Order of the Golden Eagle), the highest order in Kazakhstan, to Jordan’s King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.
