Kazakh President won Grand Prix of 'Person of Year 2010' Award

MOSCOW. February 25. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev won the grand prix of "Person of the Year 2010" Award. The awarding ceremony was held in Moscow. Kazakh Ambassador to Russia Zautbek Turysbekov recieved the prize on behalf of the Kazakh President.

According to Z.Tursybekov, President N.Nazarbayev was awarded with the prize for his great contribution to the development of friendship between Russia and Kazakhstan. "Nursultan Nazarbayev is the initiator of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space. This prize is the highest appraisal of the Head of our State and the international image of our President," the Diplomat said.

"Person of the Year" Award, founded by the Russian RBC media holding, is awarded to people who have achieved outstanding professional results, made a great contribution to the development of business, politics, culture and received public recognition. Laureates are nominated in four categories: public-political sphere, business sphere, special category and the highest award - grand prix "Person of the Year". Art Director - Director of the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P.Chekhov Oleg Tabakov has been awarded the grand prix as well as the Kazakh President.
