Kazakh President will meet with Emir of Qatar
ASTANA. January 15. KAZINFORM - On January 19-20 the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani will pay an official visit to Astana, this has been announced today at a press briefing in Central Communications Service by the spokesman Altai Abibullayev.
"Since the Emir's ascension to the throne in June 2013 his visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan will be one of his first foreign trips. In the framework of the official visit Emir of Qatar will have a meeting with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev", said Altai Abibullayev.
According to his words during the visit there will be discussed prospects of enhancing the Kazakh-Qatari trade, economic and investment cooperation as well as the possibility of creating a joint investment fund by "Samruk-Kazyna" National Welfare Fund and the Qatar Investment Agency.
"Following the round table it is expected to sign a number of bilateral documents of Qatar and Kazakhstan", he concluded.
