Kazakh President visited machine-building plants in Kostanay

The President got familiarized with the plans to build a new car production site with the capacity of 25 thousand vehicles per year. The President was shown a line of car models assembled at the Kostanay plant.

Nursultan Nazarbayev, in particular, interested in high-class cars, the so-called cars for officials.

At a meeting with employees of LLP "Sary-Arka Avtoprom", Nazarbayev said: "Before now there was no machine-building industry in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan will soon join the WTO, and the products of such plants must be competitive. At the same time we must not forget that the world moves further and it is needed to introduce new modern methods of production."

Workers expressed their gratitude for the support and assistance to the President of Kazakhstan.
