Kazakh President urges to revise energy and water tariffs

ASTANA. September 3. KAZINFORM Speaking today at the joint session of the Parliament, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev informed that it was necessary to revise energy and water tariffs.
"In Kazakhstan, where we have a terrible shortage of drinking water, it is impossible to consume as much water as we do," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The President noted it was necessary to explain to people that the tariff raising would not raise the utilities' cost, if use energy and water efficiently.
