Kazakh President urges to increase crop productivity

ASTANA-AKMOLA REGION. KAZINFORM - Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has tasked the administration of Akmola region and agricultural producers throughout the country to increase the crop yield at Wednesday's meeting in the province, Kazinform has learned from the Akorda's press service.

"It is crucial to step up the crop productivity. Currently it makes 15 centner per hectare across the country on average. We channel vast sums of money into the agricultural industry and expect certain results," President Nazarbayev added. The Kazakh leader reminded that crops demand is set to grow in the future.
