Kazakh President to take part in 10th Summit of Turkic speaking states in Istanbul
ASTANA. September 13. KAZINFORM The 10th jubilee summit of the Turkic-speaking countries with participation of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will take place in Istanbul on September 15-16. Kazakh MFA's official representative Askar Abdrakhmanov has made it public at a briefing today.
The presidents of the Turkic-speaking countries will discuss a wide array of topics regarding the relations between their states, regional and international problems. The issue on establishing a Turkic Council Secretariat and its leadership will be considered as well.
The sides are planned to exchange opinions of the work of the Academy of Turkic World opened at the initiative of Nursultan Nazarbayev during the visit of Turkish President Abdullah Gul in May 2010 in Astana.
After the summit the heads of state will adopt a declaration.
