Kazakh President to meet with Belarusian leader, Spanish PM this week

ASTANA. September 30. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev is set to meet with Prime Minister of Spain Mariano Rajoy whose official visit to Kazakhstan starts on Monday, the president's press service reports.

During the negotiations, Kazakhstan and Spain will consider the deepening of bilateral cooperation in various spheres. The sides also plan to sign a number of bilateral documents and commercial contracts.

In general, the official visit of the Spanish Premier to Kazakhstan is believed to facilitate the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation and strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Spain.

On October 3-4, Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev will have bilateral talks with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.

Lukashenko is coming to Kazakhstan this week to discuss the bilateral cooperation in commercial, economic, industrial and innovative spheres as well as collaboration in the agroindustrial complex.

The development of integration processes in the post-Soviet space, especially within the Customs Union and Single Economic Space, are to be touched upon during the top-level talks as well.

The upcoming visit of the Belarusian leader is to cement cooperation between the two countries and give a new impulse to the interaction in the bilateral and multilateral format.
