Kazakh President surveyed progress of restoration of flood-damaged Tarbagatay district

UST-KAMENOGORSK. September 6. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko/ Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has surveyed the progress of restoring of flood-damaged homes and social facilities in Tarbagatay district, East Kazakhstan.
Here about 120 houses were damaged and 440 were ruined by the spring flooding. It was decided to rebuild villages. Besides, the works on repair of roads, bridges, wells and culverts are underway. The repair is financed from the state budget. As soon as the new homes are put into service the keys to them are handed over to local residents.
Akim of Tarbagatay district Manarbek Sapargaliyev informed the President of the progress of the repair works. Then Mr. Nazarbayev visited one of the newly built homes.
