The President said judicial juries examine judges’ major breaches of the law. Such an approach will raise the disciplinary responsibility of Kazakhstani judges. He noted sometimes judges violate norms of ethics that undermine the authority of the judicial authorities. And the community of judges does not always respond in time.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev supported the adoption of the new Code of Judicial Ethics at today’s congress expressing confidence that this document will help approve high standards for the behavior of judges and enhance public confidence in the legal system.

The Head of State also noted that online courts pushed up the demand for the legal profession among young people.

As written before, the Kazakh President amended the Code on administrative offences.
