The President said a package of measures was taken in this direction. A special law “On the industrial policy” was adopted two years ago. “It is crucial to provide processing enterprises with cheap raw material. 25 agreements have been concluded with large prime producers so far. Besides, a set of measures was taken to reduce the cost of raw material,” the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, said at a solemn awarding ceremony of Altyn Sapa Prize.

The Head of State said the primary producers will have to meet the needs of the domestic market starting next year. Primary producers will export raw materials if they cover the requirements of the local processing enterprises. This step will increase end products output, boost exports, and create thousands of new jobs
