Kazakh President's visit to Turkey to impulse cooperation development - Kairat Mami
ASTANA. September 27. KAZINFORM Today, Kazakh Senate Speaker Kairat Mami has conducted negotiations with Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Cemil Cicek, who arrived in Kazakhstan for an official visit.
The issues of further strengthening of interparliamentary cooperation, which is the significant part of Kazakh -Turkish bilateral relations were discussed, the press service of the Kazakh Senate informed.
K. Mami noted the significance of the visit for bilateral interaction characterized by the high level of strategic partnership, a big contribution of Kazakh and Turkish Parliaments to the realization of interstate agreements. He stressed the importance of Kazakh and Turkish members of parliaments' consolidation in the formation of a strong bilateral legal framework.
According to K. Mami, the Kazakh President's visit to Turkey will give a new impulse to the cooperation development.
Emphasizing the role of TurkPA in integration development of Turkic speaking nations, the Kazakh Speaker said that its potential allowed to become a parliamentary platform for discussing the key issues on the international agenda.
In turn, C. Cicek noted that "meetings in Kazakhstan have a special value and significance for enhancing of model partnership demonstrated in all spheres of bilateral relations.
According to C. Cicek "the progress made by Kazakhstan in all areas for a short period after gaining independence under the leadership of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, allowed Kazakhstan to become the leading country in the region and a key country in ensuring global peace and security."
