Kazakh President received Turkish Foreign Minister
ASTANA. June 21. KAZINFORM Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu, the press service of the Head of the State reports.
Issues of development of the Kazakh-Turkish relations were discussed at the meeting. Annual top contacts play an important role in it. The sides noted that the visits of the Kazakh President to Turkey in October, 2009 and Turkish President to Kazakhstan in May this year brought the bilateral strategic partnership to a new level.
The sides agreed that Kazakhstan and Turkey chairing the OSCE and CICA would join efforts in rendering assistance to Kyrgyzstan to restore peace and stability.
A. Davutoglu said at the briefing that he conveyed greetings to the Kazakh President from President of Turkey Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Erdogan. The Turkish Minister has noted that the Head of Kazakhstan is the most experienced leader in Central Asia and Eurasian region.
