Kazakh President received Malaysian Foreign Minister

The issues regarding bilateral relations were discussed.

"First of all, I have conveyed sincere congratulations to President Nursultan Nazarbayev on behalf of the Prime Minister of Malaysia in connection with his landslide victory in the recent presidential elections. This victory demonstrated the highest trust and confidence of the people of Kazakhstan in their President. We are very impressed by the progress that Kazakhstan has reached for a very short period of time. We welcome Kazakhstan's achievements over 20 years of independence.

At the meeting we discussed the issues of further strengthening our cooperation, especially trade and investment. President Nazarbayev invited Malaysian companies to enter the market of Kazakhstan and take part in the country's development. I am confident that Kazakh-Malaysian relations will deepen and develop," Mr. Anifah Aman told journalists at a briefing.
