Kazakh President received Chairman of ARA RFCA
ASTANA. February 22. KAZINFORM. Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Agency on Regulation of the Activity of Regional Financial Center of Almaty City (RFCA) Arken Arystanov; Kazinform refers to the Presidential press service.
A. Arystanov informed the President of the RFCA's current activity. Since its foundation in 2006 the Agency launched "Eurasian Trading System" commodity exchange, a rating agency, an RFCA Academy; commercialized Kazakhstan Stock Exchange; formed a regulatory framework for the formation of Almaty as a regional financial center.
"In the light of the President's Address "New Decade - New Economic Growth - New Opportunities of Kazakhstan" we face new tasks on further improvement and development of the financial center. In this context the Head of the State instructed the Agency to develop new directions of the center's work and define ways for their solution", A. Arystanov said at a briefing for journalists.
